∮MATERIAL∮ -The Jig is a non-corrosive body made of T6 6061 aluminum alloy and is manufactured with sensitive CNC machines. The hinge is embedded in the main body of the Jig and never vibrates. All parts and contact surfaces are anodized to prevent corrosion and rust. The surface is ground and closely fitted to provide the maximum perpendicularity that affects the shape of the final blade. The bottom plate is fitted with a .150-inch ABS sheet, just like a skid, slides smoothly on working rest.
∮ADJUSTABLE ANGLE∮ -The protractor plate is made of stainless steel and processed by laser processing. The dial is engraved with a scale with an adjustable range of -5°~25°. The lock knob and turnbuckle combination on the dial ensure zero movement. The pointer can be adjusted with a wrench to achieve absolute precision. The Super fine thread turnbuckle can be adjusted absolutely accurately.
∮EASY TO Clamp∮ -It has 52 tapped mounting holes (1/4-20 UNC) and 8 additional bolts to connect your knives, 2 galvanized rectangular clamp plates and bolts can be used to fix knives at any height for many different knife models. Clamping the blade securely to the bevel jig with 2 clamps rather than the bolts, it will get a firmer grip and accepts up to 11 mm (0.4”) thick blades.
∮COMFORT USE∮ -The aluminum handle gives a solid feel without extra weight. The most common aluminum profile in use today is T6-6061 alloy, which has very high tensile strength. The aluminum alloy handle is engraved with aluminum patterns, which can relieve physical exertion from the hands of the master (muscle tension, vibration loads on tendons and joints.
∮EASY TO Grind∮ -The sharpening Jig is suitable for most electric or manual grinders with or with tool rest. It can be quickly and easily installed directly on the worktable in front of the grinder. The fixture can be adjusted forwards and backwards to obtain the right angle.
